One of the most popular destination in the PHILIPPINES is Mindoro's very own Puerto Galera!
           Puerto Galera is the northwesternmost municipality in the province of Oriental Mindoro,Philippines. It is located at the southwestern end of the Isla Verde Passage, about 130 kilometers (81 mi) south of Manila.


The place is popular for its wonderful beaches, waterfalls and snorkeling and diving spots. 


This guide will help you on how to get to Puerto Galera from Manila, how much it will cost you if your planning to stay for 3days and 2nights!


First Ride a Bus from Manila to Batangas Pier

It will cost you about P175.00 going to batangas pier and another P175.00 going back from pier to EDSA

 

Total cost : P350.00

From Batangas Port, you will take a motor boat ride to Puerto galera, this costs about 270-290 pesos per trip, but they offer round trip tickets for P500 pesos plus you have to pay 80 pesos for maintenance and whatever

Total cost P580.00

The boat will stop at Sabang first (Popular for its diving spots and snorkeling) then at White beach (Popular for its long white sand beach)

Upon arriving at the beach lots of activity coordinators will ask you if you already have a place to stay, but booking online days before the trip is better.

Many hotels offer budget friendly prices..

P500 - P2500 per night depending on the number of pax!

I suggest you book in hotels that are just in front of the beach!

Try visiting one of the waterfalls found in puerto galera! although this will cost you more depending on the falls you will try to visit and the number of pax
